In the end of November M/Y Bravado came to Balk Shipyard’s main hall for a massive refit. Bravado’s exterior and interior were completely changed. From a very classic look and feel, she turned into a very modern yacht.
Balk Shipyard acquires Jachtwerf Bloemsma
As a result of the cooperation between Balk Shipyard and Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw over the last year Daan Balk and Jan Hart mutually agreed the sale of Jachtwerf Bloemsma.
Seven Sins finalist at World Superyacht Awards 2016
On Saturday May 14th the eleventh the World Superyacht Awards will be held in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. We are extremely proud to announce that Seven Sins is a contestant in the finals to win the Refit Award.
Latest refit project Bravado
Balk Shipyard is delighted to announce that the 44,9 metres MY Bravado is one of our latest refit projects this winter season. Built by Abeking & Rasmussen in 2004, Bravado is a modern motor yacht with a classic interior.
Pioneer re-launched
We re-launched Pioneer in the end of November 2015. Designed by Vripack and built by Palmer Johnson, the Pioneer (ex. Dione Sky, ex. Putty IV, the original Turmoil) came back to Balk Shipyard for a refit after an exquisite rebuild in 2008. The new owner decided to make some modifications to the interior design as well as the transformation of the sundeck into an luxurious entertainment area.
Special visit during the Monaco Yacht Show
During the 25th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show we had a special visit of the one and only Prince Albert II of Monaco. A very pleasant start for us at the worlds’ most visited and well respected yacht show.
