Balk Shipyard is proud to announce SY Copihue, originally built at Bloemsma Shipyard, has come back to us for a second refit. After being refitted by Balk Shipyard before she now returns to our premises after her crossing the Atlantic.
The complete rig has been taken down and she was parked for several months into our refit facility. The main subject during this refit was the electrical installation with its back bone as well as all nav com/AV and alarm and monitoring systems on board.
In the meantime quite some aluminium hot works were performed. All cap rails have been dismantled and replaced in good order and some finetuning of sails and rigging was performed.
After being launched again and conducting successful sea trials SY COPIHUE is ready to set sails to the United Kingdom to be continued by summer cruising in the Med area.
We wish her Owners and Crew fair winds and following seas during their voyages.
Watch how she leaves Balk Shipyard in 2020 after another succesfull refit.
