Bravado's relaunch
In the end of November M/Y Bravado came to Balk Shipyard’s main hall for a massive refit. Bravado’s exterior and interior were completely changed. From a very classic look and feel, she turned into a very modern yacht.
Bravado’s exterior is changed from being white to a tri-tone design of white, shark grey and majestic blue. The interior also underwent a makeover – all mahogany woodwork has been replaced by light grey walls, 200 square metres of teak, new furnitures and fabrics. It gives her a very modern look and feel. The original twin engines have been given a zero-hour overhaul. Bravado’s owner ordered also a new 11.58 metre custom tender from Wajer Yachts that has the same exterior style as Bravado.
A professional team of project managers were onboard M/Y Bravado. Owner’s representative and external project manager Ralph de Joode from R Yacht Management did an amazing job together with our internal project manager Wim Mooiweer. After the refit, the owner plans to take Bravado on a world tour, which includes the Northwest Passage with captain Mark O’Connell at the helm.
