Reflections from a Seasoned Team Member: I began my journey at Balk Shipyard when they acquired Metz and my primary focus lies within the shipyards premises.
I am responsible for the outdoor area maintenance and to oversee the operations when yachts are moved in and out of the water, particularly at the slipway.
My greatest passion lies in collaborating with my colleagues to bring projects to fruition. The enduring source of my job satisfaction at Balk Shipyard is the sense of togetherness that pervades the entire yard.

URSUS | Rebuild well underway
Last week the bow has been removed, and the stern will follow in the coming weeks. MY Ursus will receive a completely new bow and stern in order to improve seakeeping and to provide her owners and crew with more space on board. When finished, the yacht will have an overall length of 30m, an extension of no less than 6 metres compared to the original length of 24m. In addition to the extension of the hull, the superstructure has already been lengthened by one metre to provide a more spacious saloon and sundeck. Along with several other upgrades, including new hybrid propulsion and navigation systems, this will completely transform MY Ursus.
