Seven Sins finalist at World Superyacht Awards 2016

On Saturday May 14th the eleventh the World Superyacht Awards will be held in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. We are extremely proud to announce that Seven Sins is a contestant in the finals to win the Refit Award.

Delivered on May 22nd, Seven Sins showed her completely new bow section of 15 meters after a refit period of 8 months. Not only gave her new bow Seven Sins better esthetics, her performances have improved as well! Seven Sins wins between 1 and 1,5 knots of speed with exactly the same RPM on the main engines. There is an extra watertank of 4.000 liters, which makes her total water capacity up to 16.000 liters.

A paint job has been executed, which made Seven Sins look like a total new yacht. Because of the lengthening of 2.3 meters an extra crew cabin could be created. Which makes the total amount of crew members up to 8. Special about this refit was the aim of Seven Sins’ Owner to create larger crew quarters, more storage room and improved performances, instead of improving the guests facilities.

Overall, this extraordinary refit, in cooperation with Van Oossanen Naval Architects and Omega Architects, could not have gone any better. It has been a wonderful and exciting journey.

See you in Florence!
